Actualmente (2022), el edificio donde antes se ubicaban la farmacia y el hospital está cubierto de arbustos y árboles, y no es visible desde la calle.

At the beginning of the colony in the 1940s, the hospital that operated in Batey had doctors and nurses who were settlers. The pharmacy was located on the same premises as the hospital on Alejo Martínez Street. Years later the pharmacy was moved to Pedro Clisante Street, where it is currently located.
